Drifter
Hey, you know, for a $500 hearse, that is a pretty straight body!
Uh, Ooookay, Maybe not.
I bought this hearse for $500 from a guy in a local band. The name Drifter was given to the car by me when I first drove it home. See, the car had been involved in a side impact collision of some magnitude a while before I bought it. The impact had jarred the passenger side of the axle so far out of alignment that it had broken free and as such the entire rear axle was completely lopsided. This resulted in a 10 mile drive home wherein, and I am not exaggerating, the whole car took up two lanes because the axle was so far out of whack that the entire car drove nearly sideways.
I had people driving up to me in the turn lane and yelling "HEY!!! I think you have some sort of alignment problem!" in case I had not noticed.
"No shit!?!?" I would yell back as I am looking at the road in front of me through the passenger side window. People are so helpful.
