This extremely dark picture brought to you by the night Alexi actually ran again. After 6 months of being parked in exactly the same position we finally got a break from snow, tool failure, drama, lack of money, lack of manpower, lack of motivation, general malaise, profound depression, suicidal inclinations, homicidal inclinations, and failure to rise from the couch before sunset, and FINALLY got outside to get the electrical systems back online. There are still a few wires that disappeared that I have no freaking idea where they ended up...

Early on in the day, Angel applying sunscreen to Shane.

Aw, how cute. Notice the engine hoist Angel is standing on. I moved that fucker, with an engine that is about 645 pounds on it mind you, THROUGH my yard alone about a week before. Moving an engine and a hoist together is hard enough on concrete, try it some time on just dirt in your back yard after a snow storm, you'll get an idea how much THAT operation sucked.

This was side 2 all blacked out before the window tint. Looking at it from here you cannot see the rust and dents because the flat paint really hides it in this picture but believe me, it's there....

This is Alexi day 1. I had just started painting the hood. I only left two things still chrome on the car, the V-shaped chrome on the hood and the hubcaps because they had the ultra cool S&S logo's on them. Everything else I painted over. Chrome looked too classy and I did not want anything regal, I wanted black and ruined.

More apparent here you can see the rust and ruined paint. She had a vinyl top at one time, long gone as of this picture...
