"Some say it's just a hearse, but it's much worse. It's an old dirt bucket with a clown curse...long, dark, very spooky scary..."

Sorrow

This is Sorrow, My 4th hearse. She was a 1969 Superior Combination. I bought her for $200 from a local tow yard where she had been impounded.

The day I bought her I drove her home, but she broke down one mile away. I used Abby to tow her the rest of the way home, and ironically, as I was pulling in, both Sorrow and Abby decided to let their driver side window mechanisms to break.

Sorrow was unable to be titled as a normal car because of the DMV and local scrap laws, plus her engine refused to ever move again. She ended up giving most of her parts to Abby, which included her mirrors, casket rollers, jump seats, and even the door panels. These parts are all still on Abby to this day. I miss Sorrow because she was very soothing to sit in the back of and relax.

Although Sorrow is gone, when I think of her I know that the calm that I felt inside her is still with me
