HearseCon 2019 Schedule of Events

 

In previous years we have provided maps and directions. Due to the rise of GPS and smart phones we are no longer doing this, please be clear on your destinations and directions ahead of time and caravan with a group if you are unsure of where to go! If you are planning on camping and have not yet made reservations with me, please do so now and take care of payment as soon as you can. Camping spaces are limited and cannot be guaranteed until paid here

 Since this is a continuing and in fact growing problem, I am addressing it right now - DON'T BE JERKS ABOUT PARKING. Seriously.

Every year we have 1 or 2 jackasses who want to challenge the event organizers, hosts or security about parking. If we ask you to move, reposition or park in a certain way it's because  we have good reason to. I am going to make this clear as day: IF you want to argue about it with me or anyone else you can argue with the exit. HearseCon is hosted on private and rented property, we do have the authority to kick you the hell out and we will without refund.
 

 

Saturday June 8th

 

Saturday June 8th - ELNOS - 12PM through 9pm or later at Hearse House, 3757 South Lincoln St. Englewood CO 80113.

Elnos is short for "Everyones Last Night Of Sleep" because generally speaking, hearse owners don't sleep much in the final days leading up to the convention while they do last minute repairs and get ready for the big event.

In town attendees - You are welcome to join us at Hearse House to tackle last minute repairs or just hang out and enjoy some company, food, etc while we get our rides ready

Out of town attendees - Have your own celebration while you get ready for your big road trip. If you do decide to celebrate Elnos, either by partying or fixing up your car, please shoot some photos to incode64@yahoo.com or tag Zachary Byron Helm on Facebook posts about it!

The primary focus of this day is just to get amped up and share in that excitement with your fellow hearse owners whether you are in town already or not!


 

Thursday June 13th

 

Thursday – 6:00 PM – Midnight – Burning of the Corpse 6:00 PM at Colorado National Speedway 4281 Co Rd 10, Dacono, CO 80514.

This is a HearseCon first, we are not telling anyone what exactly it is. There will be meade, there will be music, there will be hearses and as always fire, that's all we can tell you. Also singing, so I would recommend getting to know these songs -

Friday June 14th

 

Friday – 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM meet and greet – Utah Park - 1800 South Peoria St. Aurora CO 80012 - PARK YOUR CARS ON S. Tuscan St. Right off of  E. Jewell Ave (Don't park in the lots, we're parking on the street, there should be plenty of room!) Join us for our opening day, we will be playing capture the funeral flag, then cruising to dinner at a classic diner down the road!

7:00 – 9:00 – Cruise to Rosies Diner – 14061 E. Illiff Ave, Aurora CO , 80014 – We will leave from the park and caravan to the diner.

9:00 PM – Morning – Camping at Indian Paintbrush campground 15600 W. Morrison Road, Morrison CO, 80465 Bring food, drinks and be ready for a great time as we continue the party at the campground. It is encouraged that if you have not been to the camping area before that you caravan with the group to avoid getting lost on your way to the group camping area. Saturday – June 15th
 



 

12:00 PM – 6:00 PM– The Decay and Shine Hearse Show and Morbid Curiosities Carnvival - 2430 S Havana St. Aurora CO 80014. There will be awards, Hearse Girls, fire swords, live music and the third Morbid Curiosities Carnival, a giant death and curiosities themed flea market. Be prepared for some bedlam and anarchy as we tear it up for the best show to date!

James Ross is the Parking Marshal, Lot Pimp, etc and will guide you on parking. Don't hassle him.

12:00 - 6, Morbid Curiosities Expo  and Decay and Shine Show, live music, hearse girls, flaming sword battles, stereo competition


2:00 - Stereo competition


3:00 - Siren blast - Does your hearse have lights and sirens? Wake the dead as we blast all of them at once in the parking lot and lower everyones property values in the neighborhood!

4:00 - Hearse give away

5:00 Awards  

6:00pm - Clean up! Please volunteer to help us clean the area of the lot as it will ensure our hosts don't have to do it!

Sunday – 1:00 PM - Afterparty at Hearse House Join us at 3757 South Lincoln St, Englewood, CO 80113 for our after party. This is a potluck event, bring a dish to share and wind down with us as we decompress from a great HearseCon weekend!
